Elizabeth from Cornwell writes

May 26th was my first visit to Lourdes and I was deeply moved by the thousands upon thousands of pilgrims praying so reverently throughout the domain every minute of the day.   To be with the pilgrimage of the National Society of Our Lady of Lourdes was a profoundly moving experience and I compliment our team leader, Ed Wilson, and all of his team on the efficient overseeing of the day to day operation of this wonderfully spiritually-renewing pilgrimage.   It was a great privilege to stand alongside the lesser able pilgrims and to witness their acceptance of the difficult circumstance that their disabilities entailed.   I, and I am sure all my fellow pilgrims, came away with a deep sense of peace and thanksgiving to Our Lady of Lourdes for coming down from Heaven and providing us with the opportunity to renew our spiritual lives and healing so many in mind and body.   Thank you to the staff and members of the Society of Our Lady of Lourdes for all the hard work that is inevitable in setting up a Pilgrimage of this nature and providing us 'first timers' with the opportunity to witness the gifts that Our Lady is so willing to dispose.

Jim from Devon writes

During our 2nd visit to Lourdes with a group from Devon, I was having some trouble with my heart but able to do most things the group undertook. However, when it came to the Stations our leader would not let me go as he said if I had problems there, some one else would have to help me down and it would not be fair to them. I agreed and with my wife went to the lower Stations. As we approached the 11th I looked across to the bridge to the domain and saw two figures I recognized. I nudged my wife and pointed to the two people. They were my sister & brother-in-law from Brisbane, Australia. Neither of us knew the others would be there, in fact I thought they were still at home in Brisbane. We had a wonderful few days as they joined us with our group.  We called it our little miracle of Lourdes.

Our Lady of Lourdes pray for us. Saint Bernadette pray for us
